  • Click on Troubleshooting.

  • In the Advanced Options Window, make sure you tick mark the “Apply repairs automatically” checkbox.
  • Now, click on the Run as Administrator and give the tools Administrative Privileges.

Method 3: Download Updates Manually

  • First of all, you need to download a third-party tool called WSUS Offline Update.
  • Once you have successfully downloaded and extracted the above zip file on your Windows PC, it’s time to run the UpdateGenerator.exe

  • Here, select the version of Windows you are using. (x32 or x64)
  • Finally, click on Start button.

  • Now, wait till the tool finds and downloads the update files. This may take a while.

  • Once the download is completed, open the “client” folder in the WSUS Offline folder and start the UpdateInstaller.exe.

  • Click on the Start button to begin the installation.

  • To finish things off, restart your PC.
